Happy First Day of Fall!

Yes!  It's finally here.  I love Fall.  It's my favorite season!  Beautifully changing leaves, pumpkins everywhere (oh yes, I love me some pumpkins!), the scents, the tastes, the colors, the feeling!  I just love it!  So, happy Fall, y'all!!

Something about Fall makes me want to curl up with a coffee and a book!  How 'bout you?  If you need some suggestions on "Fall Reading," I'll be posting more about that soon!  Stay tuned.  Plus, I will be sharing mid-season new titles as soon as I get word. October Days to Remember!

October 4th is World Animal Day - We have you covered there with hundreds of books on animals of all kinds for any age!  For the little ones, Very First Words Animals, for the older ones Big Book of Big Animals and then our Beginner's and Discovery series helps even older gets get all the details they need on the animals they are interested in, and those books are internet-referenced.  That means they can surf our SAFE and SECURE site for more info, pictures, videos of their favorite creations, and parents don't have to worry about what else they might accidentally see!

100 Years Ago... The Titanic

I have always been fascinated by the story of the sinking of The Titanic.  I've read man books, seen lots of movies, etc.  It's a wild story... so many "what ifs" that could have prevented the disaster, or at least saved many, many more lives.  Plus, just that time period in history, the class and nationality feuds...it's just all so very interesting.  I'm super excited that Usborne offers several Titanic books for our children to learn about this interesting event that happened 100 years ago!
