Celebrating 25 years of UBAM, National Convention 2014...

I spent this past weekend with my Usborne Buddies in Paradise (aka Tulsa, OK) for National Convention.  Usborne Books & More celebrated it's 25th Anniversary this year and they went CRAZY for convention.  It was so much fun.  Despite hotel issues (which were themselves cray-cray), the whole experience was just what I hoped.  I was able to further bond with some of my teammates, including new ones!  We got great training, received a bunch of new titles and just had a pure blast! I am definitely motivated to promote to Team Leader in the VERY near future and am definitely gonna work towards earning a trip to IRELAND!  Oh yes, bring it on!

Rhea Lana's Consignment Sale!

Holly and I have teamed up again this season to host a booth at the Rhea Lana's of Southwest DFW Consignment Sale. It's located at the Artiside Event & Convention Center in Mansfield, off Walnut Creek and 287! They have a tonnnnn of amazing and inexpensive kid/baby stuff... and don't forget to come see us and the other vendors in the lobby as well!  This event is going on Wed, Feb 29th through Fri, Mar 2nd, 9am-9pm!  See ya there!

Country Day on the Hill was Great!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Usborne Books & More booth today at Country Day on the Hill in Cedar Hill, Texas.  My team and I had a great time getting to meet you and show you our wonderful books.  The kids especially seemed to enjoy their stickers and bookmarks - and most of all: the books!  

There were some really neat booths out there today... all kinds of handmade items, kid's stuff, food and more, plus there was a parade and lots of live music as well!  What a fun time!  We are already looking forward to being part of this event again next year!
